BASIC JEWELRY-MAKING WORKSHOP S$90

They say that jewelry-making is therapeutic. I can testify to that! Come and learn a new skill with me: creating beautiful pieces for yourself and loved ones and feel the exhilarating satisfaction of what you can accomplish! Learn all about beads, findings, tools and wires.

In this workshop, you will learn these basic techniques:

Basic Stringing:
Learn how to string beautiful beads to make bracelets and necklaces. You will also learn how to end off by crimping and attaching a clasp, including opening and closing of jump-rings.

Basic Wire-work:
Learn to make simple loops: a great technique for attaching beads to chains or linking them together. With this technique, you are on your way to make beautiful earrings, bracelets and necklaces!

Projects: A matching pair of earrings and bracelet using Swarovski crystallized elements, gold-filled and 925 silver findings with the exception of the toggle clasp in base metal. All materials will be provided including the loan of tools.

BLACK & BLUE BRACELET S$32

The boldness of the black onyx are being tamed by the pastel baby blue amazonites. The variety of shapes and sizes of gemstones make this bracelet an unique piece. The black round onyx are framed with artistic, anti-tarnish silver wires, herringbone style. I added a chain extender which ends with a cluster of gemstones. The pale white tear-drop gemstone is a moonstone.

Length of bracelet : 7 1/2 in and can extend up to 8 1/2 in.

ROSE BRACELET S$32

A row of alternating pinks : rose quartz nuggets framed with artistic anti-tarnish silver wires, herringbone style and 3 pretty diagonally-drilled dusty rose fresh-water pearls strung on thin silver wires .

Length of bracelet : 8 inches. I can make it to the length you want.

THE CLASSIC PEARL BRACELET S$32

Here is a typical pearl bracelet made with Swarovski creamrose crystal pearls and bicones. Added a pear-shaped crystal pendant to the matt-gold toggle clasp for an even more classy look.

Completed in gold finish. Findings are in gold-filled with the exception of the toggle clasp in matt gold metal.

Length of bracelet : 7 1/2 in . I can also make it to the length you want.

SUN-KISSED BRONZE BRACELET S$32

This makes a great accessory for those with tanned skin and who are looking for a pearly item. Here is a mix of brown , almond crystal pearls with complementing coloured bicones from Swarovski. Added a pear-shaped crystal pendant to the matt-gold toggle clasp for a classy look.

Completed in gold finish. Findings are in gold filled with the exception of the toggle class in matt gold metal.

SWEET PLUM BRACELET S$32

A pleasant mix of burgundy, mauve , light amethyst and crystal from Swarovski all nicely strung into a pretty bracelet. Added a starfish pendant to the matt silver toggle clasp for that girlish charm.

Completed in silver finish. Findings are in 925 silver with the execption of the toggle clasp in matt silver metal.

SWEET LIME EARRINGS S$40 (SOLD)

Made a matching earring to complement Sweet Lime Necklace . Plump green amethyst briolettes ( approximately 10mm by 6mm) are wire-wrapped and attached to gold-filled 4mm ball ear post. These amethyst are finely cut and has a brilliant shine!

IN THE PINK, LUXE COLLECTION BY JC S$56

Mystic Pink Topaz, garnets and rock crystals all wire-wrapped onto gold-filled chains. The AAA Pink Topaz brios ,which measure 8mm by 6mm, have brilliant shine and clarity. Each of the garnets and rock crystals ends with a pretty coil of gold-filled wire.

FRESH WATER PEARLS & GARNETS NECKLACE S$40

Fresh water pearls and garnets are strung on gold-filled wire and wire-wrapped onto gold-filled chains. These pearls and garnet gemstones are approx 3.5mm in size. Length of the "centre-piece" is about 2 inches/5omm. I ended the necklace with a toggle clasp and 2 pretty pearls!

This necklace makes a great Mother's Day gift! Shown here is a matching pair of earrings , sold separately.

Necklace can be made using the other gemstones ( such as moonstones/ carnelians/peridots etc etc) to match the other Fresh Water Pearl Drops posted below.

A row of green amethyst rondels are wire-wrapped onto gold-filled chains and at the centre, a green amethyst brio dangles as a pendant. The brio is approx 9mm by 7mm . A beautiful faceted green amethyst briollette ( approx 12mm by 9mm) topped by a cluster of white fresh-water pearls dangles on gold-filled chains. The green amethyst has a brilliant, crisp sparkle and are very finely faceted. Truly AAA gemstone quality.

Just simply round , almost white fresh water pearls and a tiny 3mm gemstone. The fresh water pearls are about 9 to 10mm in size and complemented with either garnets ( purplish red ) , carnelians ( orange) , moonstones ( translucent white) or peridots ( green). The pearls have great lustre. The gemstones are nicely cut and are AAA quality. All completed in silver and available in french earwire or post earwire styles. A single translucent white moonstone hangs on a brass/copper coloured kidney earwire. Simple and yet stunning on it's own. This is definitely an all-occassion pair.

SMOKY QUARTZ DANGLE - LUXE PETITE COLLECTION S$45

Gold and Smoky quartz make a great combo! Here we have a 11mm by 11mm very sparkling smoky quartz with a gold-filled rondel bead on top. The smoky quartzs have a brilliant shine and nicely faceted. AAA grade from India. For the earwire, I used a fleur des lis lever earwire. Lever earwires are definitely more secure that french earwires.

FLORA & FAUNA - S$15 (SOLD)

Using brass leaf branch connectors, I wire-wrapped these 8mm Crystal pearls onto them. Each pearl is capped with a leaf-motif bead cap. The white version is a Swarovski crystal cream rose pearl but the reddish looking one, I am uncertain if it's Swarovski although the packaging did indicate Austrian Crystal Pearls. I bought these red ones some time as I had never come across these colours from Swarovski. Nevertheless, they have the look and feel of Swarovski! I should have asked but the bead shop has sinced moved away.

Don't you think they look like a single bud on a stalk? For those who like the flora and fauna, here is a pair that will thrill you.

SIMPLY SWAROVSKI S$15

A single almond swarovski 9mm crystal pearl and a jet black swarovski bicone are wire-wrapped on to a brass/copper coloured kidney wire. Simple in design and yet a stunning pair. Definitely an all-occassion pair, good for weekends as well. The good news is that it's priced affordably!

FRESH WATER PEARLS HOOPS S$40 (SOLD)

Here is a pair of silver hoops of perfectly white fresh-water pearls. The pearls of different sizes are individually wire-wrapped and slipped into the hoops. Complemented the pearls with more sterling silver round beads which give it a brilliant shine. It is a picture of purity and serenity and I hope the owner of this pair will enjoy wearing it.

Also a great pair for weddings especially for bridesmaids.

The hoop size is 25mm in diameter and with the pearls it's about 32mm in height.

Please note the colour of the pearls are exactly the white in the 2nd picture. Unfortunately, I cannot achieve the exact colour with the 1st pic even though both pics are taken with the same camera and at the same time of the day! Need to improve my photo-taking skills!!

CITRINE HOOPS, LUXE COLLECTION BY JC - S$60

A trio of plump citrine briolettes measuring approximately 10mm by 6mm each are wire-wrapped on GF chains and dangles in the centre of the gold-filled hoops. Added a row of gold-filled round beads to complement the light tea colour of citrines. These citrines have very fine cuts and superb quality. AAA grade!

SIMPLY MYSTIC PINK TOPAZ, LUXE COLLECTION BY JC S$59 (SOLD)

A trio of mystic pink topaz are wire-wrapped with sterling silver onto sliver chains. The bottom gemstone has been "crowned" with a coil of silver wires for added interest. Notice the superb cuts, clarity and crisp sparkle of these mystic pink topaz. Their sizes ranging from 6mm by 4mm to 9mm by 6mm. It's so clear that you can see the silver wires through these gemstones. AAA grades!

A beautiful 11mm by 7mm green amethyst and a simple round gold-filled bead hang alluringly from gold-filled chains. What an stunning pair, very elegant.

CREAMROSE /GARNETS ON EAR THREADS S$28 (SOLD)

Use contrast and be noticed~ I cannot help but appreciate how a deep red/purplish 3.5mm garnet can make a world of difference to this single Swarovski 8mm creamrose crystal pearl. They hang sweetly onto a 80mm/ 3 1/4 in sterling sliver ear thread. With the ear-thread, you can decide on how long you want to wear this pair! It swings nicely as well!

Completed in sliver finish.

Total length with pearls : approx 93 mm/ 3 1/2 in. So if you wear with 35mm behind your ear lobes, you will have a length of 53 mm/ 2 1/4inch in front.

PEARLS REMIX - BRONZE S$22 (SOLD)

Pearls are always a classic and here is a classic way of how such a pair of earrings can be made. But instead of the usual white pearls, I used a combination of bronze and green coloured Swarovski crystal pearls and of course , for that classic touch, I added the Swarovski Gold-plated crystal spacers. The bronze pearl size is 10mm. I always like the uniformity of Swarovski crystal pearls- they are always perfectly round.

In music language, I present to you a remix of the classics!
