RESTRINGING EFFORT

I was asked to restring this beautiful 5-strand necklace. When it was bought , it was stringed using threads and it had a thick colourful cord to hold the strands together. As this necklace is very expensive, I had to make sure I do not even lose any of these tiny semi-precious stones (2-3mm in size)! I used a 5-strand silver connectors to attach the strands and in place of the original cord, I used double silver chains. These silver chains are oxidised to match the colour of the silver connectors. This is then completed with flower Thai silver clasp, one of my great finds during my last Chiang Mai trip.
I have yet to confirm the types of semi-precious stones used in this necklace and I am guessing they are pink sapphires, yellow sapphires, amethyst and carnelians. I can't make out what the green coloured stones are. The colours and cuts on these little darlings are just awesome! So sparkling!
Length of necklace : 24 in ( shortest strand)
